After months of speculation, Apple has finally announced the official launch date of their iPhone 14 at the September 7 event. The event is also expected to witness the launch of a few models of smartwatches, possibly including the Apple Watch Series 8.
Apple has already sent out invites to the event titled “Far Out,” which will be held at the Steve Jobs Theater at its headquarters in Cupertino, California. The event kicks off at 10 a.m. local time.
In addition to the in-person event, Apple will also live stream the event through their website and other online channels.
Given that Apple’s iPhone accounts for $366 billion in annual sales, it’s not surprising that the brand will bring an onslaught of twists and turns along the way.
Reports suggest that Apple is currently aiming for a more revolutionary but ambiguous product launch in the coming months, including iPads, new Macs, Airpods, etc. There is no official confirmation yet regarding the release date or details about the products.
The iPhone 14 launch is Apple’s third event in 2022. This event follows on from Apple’s March event, which previewed Mac Studio, the new iPad Air, iOS 16, etc.
At the September 7 event, Apple will launch four new models of the iPhone 14. The brand is said to have suspended the mini version of the new iPhones due to their reduced sales.
In addition to the iPhone 14, three new Apple Watch models will also be released at the same event. As for the iPhone 14 model, there are two versions of the standard iPhone 14 model and two versions of the iPhone 14 Pro models. The largest of the four will be equipped with a 6.7-inch display for a comprehensive viewing experience.
