Samsung’s next-generation Galaxy Z Fold 4 is one of the most highly anticipated foldable phones expected to launch in August this year.
With just a few months away from its official release, it’s no surprise that many renders and leaks surrounding the device are constantly popping up online.
Now, recently renowned Tipster Yogesh Brar †@heyitsyogesh) took to Twitter to reveal the likely specs and features of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4.
According to Brar, the Galaxy Z Fold 4, an incremental upgrade of the Z Fold 3, will have a 7.6-inch AMOLED display inside and have a QXGA+ resolution with support for a 120Hz refresh rate.
The external display is a 6.2-inch HD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
The upcoming foldable device also features the recently announced octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC based on TSMC’s 4nm process, which offers 10% faster CPU performance and 30% improved power efficiency.
Furthermore, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 comes with 12 GB to 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB or 512 GB of internal storage.

On the front camera, the device comes with a triple camera setup on the back with a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera and a 12MP telephoto sensor with 3x zoom.
It will also have a 16MP inner camera below the display and a punch cutout for the 10MP front camera.
In addition, according to Brar, the device is powered by a 4,400 mAh battery under the hood with support for 25 W fast charging. The device is also expected to support wireless charging.
The Galaxy Z Fold 4 will run Android 12 out of the box, with One UI 4 on top. Other features of the smartphone include stereo speakers, an IPX8 rating, S Pen compatibility, Wireless DeX and Samsung Pay. For connectivity, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 should support 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC and a USB Type-C port.
Since Samsung has not officially revealed or confirmed anything regarding the Galaxy Z Fold 4, it is recommended that you take the above information with a grain of salt.
