While I have become a fan of the iOS 16 update lock screen customization, I hate seeing the new notifications at the bottom of the lock screen after the iOS 16 update. As before, I’m used to the most important notifications at the top of the lock screen below the clock. That’s why I moved iOS 16 notifications from bottom to top on my iPhone’s lock screen.
After installing iOS 16 on iPhone, iOS 16 default settings show notifications at the bottom of the lock screen instead of Top of list. Since the rollout of iOS 16, many users who have installed iOS 16 on their iPhone are disappointed with the bottom notifications and are looking for a way to move iOS 16 notifications to the top. Therefore, you can follow a few steps to display iOS 16 notifications at the top.
Move or show notifications at the top on iOS 16
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Then tap Notifications.
- Choose the “List” option under the View As section.
That is it.
That was so easy peasy, I guess. After completing the above three steps, you can get back old notifications on iOS 16 to show as at the top. However, if you want to keep the charm of your aesthetic lock screen design, it’s better to keep the notifications at the bottom of the screen rather than at the top.
In addition to the list option, there are other notification settings in the Show As – Counting & Stacking section. The default setting enables the Stack notification on the iPhone. But you can also go with the List option to show notifications at the top and the Count option to get notifications in numbers at the bottom.
HGo to Settings, go to Notification and select “List” under the Show as section to show notifications at the top of iOS 16. Isn’t it easy? Share your feedback in the comment box. Feel free to ask for more help via comments.
