iOS 16 was first presented in June at Apple’s WWDC and is Apple’s next-generation operating system for iPhones. Since then, the iOS 16 beta has been available to developers and public beta testers. Testers have been using the beta operating system for months now and many great features are yet to be seen. After several betas of iOS 16, the official iOS 16 public update will be rolled out very soon. As in the rest of the world, iOS 16 will be released in Nigeria on the same day Apple announced.
With iOS 16, Apple has a completely revamped lock screen with extensive customization options and widgets. Updates have been made to Focus, Live Activities, Passkeys, Safari’s ability to share tabs, delete messages in iMessage, and more.
