Snapchat is a new imaginary world for me, as I enjoy sharing stacks, using colorful filters, and chatting with people with end-to-end encryption. Even I wake up and go to bed posting the Snapchat story. Since I use Snapchat a lot all day long, I am so happy to have Snapchat widgets on iPhone lock screen.

iOS 16’s new widget feature allows users to add useful widgets to the iPhone’s lock screen. However, limited apps and features support iOS 16 widgets on the lock screen. But luckily it’s so great to have Snapchat Widget set up on iOS 16 lock screen. Since the new feature, many users didn’t know that Snapchat supports lock screen widgets on iOS 16. Once you’ve added the Snapchat widget to the iOS 16 lock screen, you can quickly tap the widget and launch the app directly without having to find the app from the home screen or app library.

How to Add Snapchat Widget to iOS 16 Lock Screen

  1. Press your finger on the lock screen while unlocking the device.
  2. Tap Customize on the bottom screen.
  3. Tap the widget space below the clock to add the widget.
  4. Scroll down and tap Snapchat in the widget loop.
  5. Or you can add Snapchat Camera or Pin A Friend or Group Widget.
  6. Now drag the widget to the lock screen and tap Done.

Now you can see the new Snapchat widget on the lock screen of iOS 16. You just need to tap the newly added widget to instantly open your lover or friend’s Snapchat camera or chat screen.

You can also add a Snapchat birthday widget on top or in place of date and day to keep the rest of the birthday on top.

  1. Press your finger on the lock screen while unlocking the device.
  2. Tap Customize on the bottom screen.
  3. Tap the Day & Date widget above the clock.
  4. Now select the Snapchat birthday widget and tap Done.
  5. All done.

It’s so cool and fun to have multiple Snapchat widgets on iOS 16 lock screen. It gets fun when you make the Snapchat based or yellow lock screen.
