Audience and developer beta [2022]

As we head to the WWDC 2022 event where Apple will release iOS 16 along with iPadOS 16, macOS 13, watchOS 9, and tvOS 16, I think you’re wondering if you’re getting iOS 16 for iPhone. With the upcoming iOS 16 update, the company plans to add the most awaited always-on display, lock screen widgets, and more great features.

At the WWDC 2020 event on June 6, Apple will be launching the iOS 16 at 10 a.m. Pacific Time. Like every year, iOS 16 will be released for developers only. So, limited users can download iOS 16 on iPhone to test the all new upcoming iOS 16 features. However, if you are eager to get iOS 16 on your iPhone, we have explained the easy method to join the iOS 16 beta program.

How to Get iOS 16 Beta: Developer or Public Beta

  1. You need to go to the Apple Developer program page and enroll your device. This program costs $99 per year in the US. The user must be 18 years or older.
  2. If you don’t want to spend $99 on the developer program, you’ll have to wait for Apple’s free public beta program. It will be available to everyone from July.
  3. You can also join digital lounges to talk to Apple engineers and discuss the iOS 16 update. It is only available to developers and will start on June 7.

We have one more week to finally get the most awaited iOS 16 update for iPhone users. If you’re excited to take the test drive of the upcoming iOS 16, then follow the above step. In the meantime, stay tuned for more guides as we are working on more methods to use the iOS 16 update. If you have any questions about the iOS 16 beta, don’t hesitate to ask us in the comment box.
