As shown in the latest iOS beta

Recently, WhatsApp has been continuously introducing new features and recently it has added many features for moderation.

In WhatsApp, as most of the new applications launch new features for the iOS beta users first, a new group chat feature was seen in WhatsApp.

This new feature allows administrators of the groups to delete messages sent by other group members.

WhatsApp has worked hard in recent updates, including the most recent beta, to improve the way its group chats work.

According to the most recent report from WABetaInfo, beta testers who have been granted “Delete as a group admin” permission can now use the new “Delete for everyone” feature in the delete options to delete chat messages sent by other members. This feature is available exclusively to group admins for moderation purposes.

This is similar to what Telegram has been offering for a few years now. But unlike Telegram, when an admin in WhatsApp deletes a message, other users will be aware of it.

WhatsApp wants to improve moderation in group chats

The most recent beta version includes a number of new features, including the ability to show status updates directly in the chat list.

WhatsApp users can upload videos and photos to the app in the chat list, and they will disappear after 24 hours. This feature is very similar to WhatsApp Stories.

As usual, WhatsApp has not disclosed when these newly added features will be made available to the general public.

In the most recent major update, WhatsApp users were given the option to change how their ‘last seen’ status is displayed for each individual contact and to leave a group without creating a notification in the group.
