But for this feature to work on your iPhone 13, you need to upgrade your device to iOS 16. If your iPhone 13 is not running iOS 16, you will not be able to use this feature. How to remove background from photos on iPhone 13:

Method 1: Using Photo Crop Feature – (Drag and Drop)

  1. Go to the Photos app on your iPhone.
  2. Open the image you want to remove the background from.
  3. Long press on the subject/object until a white glow appears around the image.
  4. Open another application without lifting your figure i.e. iMessage, WhatsApp, Notes, etc.
  5. Drag the selected object and drop it into the text field.

Method 2: Using Photo Crop Feature – (Copy and Paste)

  1. Go to the Photos app on your iPhone.
  2. Open the image you want to remove the background from.
  3. Long press on the subject/object until a white glow appears around the image.
  4. When the white glow appears, release the image and you will see a pop-up menu with the following options: Copy, Share.
  5. Tap the Copy option to copy the image without the background.
  6. Open another application where you want to paste the image.
  7. Long press the text field of the application and click paste.

Method 3: Using Photo Crop Feature – (Save or Share)

  1. Go to the Photos app on your iPhone.
  2. Open the image you want to remove the background from.
  3. Long press on the subject/object until a white glow appears around the image.
  4. When the white glow appears, release the image and you will see a pop-up menu with the following options: Copy, Share.
  5. Click save image in the menu.
  6. OR select the application you want to share the image with.

Method 4: Remove background from photos using Files:

  1. Go to the Files app on your iPhone.
  2. Open the image you want to remove the background from.
  3. Long press on the image thumbnail.
  4. Tap Quick Actions.
  5. Click Remove Background.
  6. This will remove the background from the image and save it in the same location.

Method 5: Remove background from photos using Safari:

  1. Search for an image in the search bar that you want to remove the background from.
  2. Long press on the image and tap copy subject in the list of options.
  3. Go to an application like iMessage, WhatsApp, Notes, etc. where you want to paste the image.
  4. Long press the text field of the application and click paste.
