iOS 16 is packed with new features; Apple has added nearly 400 new features to iOS 16. Most of them you may know, but many are hidden like Easter eggs for us to discover. I’m sure once you install iOS 16, you’ll start exploring its features and making changes, especially when it comes to customizing the lock screen. There are some tips and tricks in these features that you can use to make your iPhone experience more enjoyable. With iOS 16, users can now rename their screen discount by tapping the share button. When you click the share button, a pop-up box will appear with an option to rename at the top. Click on it, enter any name you want and then hit the submit button.

When it comes to music, you can finally sort your playlist on your iPhone. You can sort by title, artist, album or release date. Just go to the music library, click on the three dots and follow the on-screen instructions.


On iOS 16, the default calendar app now lets you copy and paste events. You can copy an event by tapping and holding it. When you create a new event, you have the option to paste it from the clipboard.


A nice feature of iMessage in iOS 16 is that you no longer have to hold down the voice recording button to record a voice message. All you have to do is tap on it and it will start recording; once done, tap again and you’re good to go.


In iOS 16, there is no option to select wallpaper for both the home screen and the lock screen. Just go to the wallpaper settings and select the screen focus option to select your preferred wallpaper.


The search button on the home screen is another new feature in iOS 16. When you click the search button, you will be redirected to the spotlight search. You can disable it by going to the home screen settings and unchecking the show option on the home screen.


This feature can work anywhere on iOS 16. That feature is available anywhere you access the shared sheet. You can also add photos to a quick note directly from the Photos app. Go to the photos, click the share button, then tap the ‘Add to a quick note’ button.
